I chose this image for glowing lights and added thought bubbles to each person to make it look like they're thinking. I used the effect, outer glow, and changed the color to a light pink. I kept the size and spread at 0 pixels. I drew the thought bubble on the left first by using the freeform pen tool. After creating a stroke path and deleting the black line in the middle, I started on the one on the right. To make the one on the right, I had to open another layer and do the same thing except make the color blue instead.

Drive By Song Lyrics
To edit this photo in Lightroom, I had to decrease the exposure and increase contrast and saturation. Then I moved it to Photoshop and made it all black and white. I used the history brush tool to make her colored again so she would stand out from the background. I added in the lyrics and centered them in the bush next to her. I'm trying to show that she's the girl that's mentioned in the lyrics by taking a picture of her from across the street, having her not look at me so it doesn't seem like she sees me, and editing it to make her stand out form her surroundings.

Practice Motion Pictures
I set a low shutter speed on this photo at 1/30. The apertures were set at 6.6. The ball was thrown into the air and it came out very blurry in the photo.
This one had a medium shutter speed at 1/80. The apertures for this were set at 8.3. The results came out a little blurry, but more focused than the first one.
This had a high shutter speed with the apertures at 5.9. The ball is very sharp, clear, and easy to see.
Texture Layer
To create this picture, I chose one of my flower pictures and a picture of bark. In Lightroom, I increased the temperature and tint, while decreasing the shadows and black clipping in the texture photo to make it lighter and browner. I then moved both pictures to Photoshop and made their sizes and resolution match. I copied my texture photo on top of the flower photo. After looking through all the blending modes, I chose darken and changed the opacity to 25%. I added a layer mask and brushed out some texture in and around the water drops.

Text Tutorial
To begin creating this, I opened a layer in Photoshop. I added a gradient to the background that is light blue at the top and fades into white at the bottom. Then I used the text tool to write the word, "Whoosh." The font size is 120 pt and the color is kind of a raspberry, pinkish-red. After that I clicked on the button at the top called text warp. I chose twist because I thought it looked best for the sound effect. The bend is at 73% and the horizontal distortion is at 24%. Then I moved the word to the middle of the screen. I went to bevel and emboss to increase the depth in the up direction to 100%. I also changed the contour range to 69%. Next I went to stroke and outlined the word in a darker color. In drop shadow, I increased distance to 164 px, spread to 23%, and size to 10 px. I also went to inner shadow and increased distance to 5 px and size to 13px. Last I went to inner glow, and set the opacity to 75% and increased size to 5 px.
